Rattlesnake Rollercoaster Race Information
The Rattlesnake Rollercoaster Run will be held at the Gateway of Light Sanctuary and Guest Ranch and is being put on by the Stronghold Area Recreational Park Association (a 501 c3 non-profit) as a fundraiser for the Evelyn Williams Memorial Park in Sunsites, AZ.
Your registration fee will include entry to the race and a swag bag. Sign up before 8/26/2026 to receive a T-shirt! Entries past this date are not guaranteed a shirt. Age group awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each category.

Getting There...
The address is 1092 W Highland Rd, Pearce, AZ 85625
Follow the road in, there will be signs directing you to park in a large field. From there you will have a short walk to the start line.

Course Information...
Both the 5K and 10K will be a mix of double track dirt roads and single track trails. We highly recommend trail shoes be worn on this course. Starting on a privately owned guest ranch you will follow two track until you get to the beautiful foothills of the Coronado National Forest. Following a well marked trail you will weave in and out of oak woodlands and past granite outcrops as you finish your loop at the highest point of the property and have a fast downhill sprint to the finish!
Elevation gain for the 5K is 275' the course is a loop and there will be 2 aid stations with water and some snacks.
Elevation gain for the 10K is 655' and it is a lollipop course. There will be 2 aid stations with water and some snacks.

The Gateway of Light offers rustic cabins on Air Bnb if anyone is wanting to stay the weekend.

All participants must sign a waiver to run on the course. No Exceptions.
No dogs on the course. Any dogs brought on property must be on a leash. No Exceptions.
